In this paper we propose(d) an approach towards real-time representation of brain (…)
data using a virtual physics engine built in the Max MSP/Jitter graphical programming environment, and with the real-time raw Emotiv EEG BCI signal. Firstly we summarize(d) about the brain as an electric phenomenon and as a perpetually active system dependent of an environment. Secondly we describe(d) methods of representation of these phenomena in historical contexts such as science and art. We then establish(ed) a conceptual relationship between brain’s phenomena and Newton’s laws of motion and equilibrium. Finnaly we discuss(ed) potential gaps to be fulfilled and propose and describe EshoFuni.

Please see xCoAx conference website.
Proceedings available at 2014.xCoAx.org
Direct paper link xcoax2014-Tome-Marques

Horácio {Tomé Marques}

{a priori: Eshō-funi} is a japanese Buddhist term: esho is a compound of shoho, meaning life or a living being, and eho, its environment.
